About The Problem
With the onset of Covid, Heron Bros realised that we had a requirement to improve our internal systems to allow for great communication and collaboration between our workforce.
OUR SOLUTION
Communications App
Heron Bros initially engaged with K4 to provide an app based solution which could be used by all staff members that would act as a single portal for both internal company updates but also allowing employees to provide feedback on group lean initiatives, complete the onboarding process or monitor training requirements. K4 innovative team quickly realised that there was an opportunity to design a bespoke system that allowed us to capture all employee related information in one location.

The new system now ensures that all relevant personnel internally are notified on a timely basis of any important changes whether HR or payroll, we can now monitor all staff training requirements, notifications are provided well in advance of expiry dates and reminders issued closer to the training date, employees can now access all of their training records through the portal while the user interface makes it very intuitive to use.
